We want customers to have clear information about refunds before making a purchase. Because the products sold through our Site are digital products delivered electronically, they cannot be physically returned.

This policy explains our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee, how we handle defective or incorrect products, and any statutory rights that may apply.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible unused and unactivated license keys.

To request a refund under this guarantee, you must contact us within 30 days from the date the digital product was delivered to you.

A license key may be eligible for a refund under our voluntary 30-day guarantee where:

  • the license key has not been activated, redeemed, registered, or otherwise used
  • the refund request is submitted within the applicable 30-day period.

We may verify the status of the license key before approving the refund.

2. Activated or Used License Keys

Once a license key has been successfully activated, redeemed, registered, or otherwise used, it is no longer eligible for a change-of-mind refund under our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.

This does not affect any mandatory rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer law if the digital product is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

3. Defective, Invalid or Incorrect Products

If you believe that a license key is invalid, defective, does not activate as described, or you have received a different product from the one you ordered, please contact us at support@softwareaurora.com

We may ask you for reasonable information necessary to identify and troubleshoot the issue, such as your order number, the error message displayed during activation, or other relevant details.

Where a license key is confirmed to be defective or invalid, or where we supplied the incorrect product, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • technical or activation assistance;
  • a replacement license key;
  • the correct product;
  • a price reduction;
  • a full or partial refund.

Where we provide a replacement, we will do so at no additional charge.

If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, an appropriate refund or other remedy will be provided where required by applicable law or this policy.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights available to you.

4. UK and EEA Cancellation Rights For Digital Content

Consumers in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights for distance contracts under applicable consumer law.

For digital content supplied electronically, special rules apply where you request that supply begins before the statutory cancellation or withdrawal period has expired.

Where required by applicable law, before we make digital content available immediately, we will ask you to:

  • expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning before the applicable cancellation or withdrawal period expires;
  • acknowledge that, once supply begins, you may lose your statutory right to cancel or withdraw from the contract.

Where the required consent and acknowledgement have been properly provided and supply of the digital content has begun, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation or withdrawal right may no longer apply.

Where the required consent or acknowledgement has not been obtained, or where supply has not yet begun, any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right available to you will continue to apply in accordance with applicable law.

For UK consumers, the statutory cancellation period for digital content supplied at a distance is normally 14 days from the formation of the contract, subject to the digital-content rules described above.

Where a UK statutory cancellation right applies and is validly exercised, reimbursement will be made without undue delay and within the period required by law.

The loss of a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not affect statutory remedies relating to digital content that is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to applicable legal requirements.

5. How to Request a Refund or Other Remedy

To request a refund, replacement, or assistance with a product, contact us at:

Email: support@softwareaurora.com

Please provide:

  • your order number;
  • the email address used when placing the order;
  • the product concerned
  • a brief description of the reason for your request.

For activation or technical issues, we may also request reasonable information needed to investigate the problem.

Because all products are delivered digitally, no physical return or shipping is required.

We will review your request and contact you if additional information is reasonably required.

6. Refund Method and Processing Time

Our products are supplied electronically and there is no physical item to return.

Accordingly:

  • no physical return shipment is required;
  • there are no return shipping costs;
  • we do not charge restocking fees for eligible digital-product refunds.

Where verification is required, this will be carried out electronically.

7. Model Cancellation Form

If you have a statutory right to cancel and wish to exercise it, you may contact us directly or use the following form.

You are not required to use this form. Any clear statement communicating your decision to cancel is sufficient where a cancellation right applies.

Nothing in this policy restricts your right to contact your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other appropriate authority, or to exercise any statutory rights available to you.

9. Statutory Rights

Our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee is provided in addition to any mandatory statutory rights that apply to your purchase.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

For UK consumers, digital content is subject to statutory requirements under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose where applicable, and conformity with description.

Statutory remedies may include repair or replacement and, in circumstances provided by law, an appropriate price reduction or refund.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Returns & Refund Policy from time to time.

Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights relating to an order already placed where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
